How Wizkid’s ‘More Love Less Ego’ concert shut down Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Wizkid made history on Saturday when he became the first and only African artist to headline and perform at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London.

The sold-out concert, which was part of his “More Love Less Ego” world tour, saw the Afrobeats superstar perform a two-hour set to a crowd of over 60,000 fans.

Wizkid kicked off the show with a bang, making a spectacular entrance on a raised platform while performing his hit song “Reckless.” He then proceeded to deliver a high-energy set that included all of his biggest hits, such as “Ojuelegba,” “Soco,” and “Made in Lagos.”

The crowd was clearly in love with Wizkid, and they sang along to every song. They also showed their appreciation for the singer by waving flags from Nigeria and other African countries.

In between songs, Wizkid took the time to address the crowd and talk about the importance of love and unity. He said, “We are all Africans, and we need to love each other more. We need to put our egos aside and come together as one.”

The concert ended with Wizkid performing his latest single, “Essence.” The song, which features Tems was met with a rapturous response from the crowd.

Fans now say that Wizkid’s performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was a historic moment for African music.
