I was desperate to pay my house rent – Tiktoker begs Eniola Badmus after accusing her of pimping women | Video

A Tiktoker identified as Ege Okoye, who claimed that popular Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus pimps young women to powerful politicians for prostitution has been taken into custody.

Newspread had reported that the woman, now identified as Oge, accused the actress of being a professional pimp who connects women to politicians for prostitution in a recent viral video on social media.

Eniola, however, responded to the accusation in an Instagram post on Wednesday, advising people who would fabricate lies to damage her name to be cautious.

“Trend carefully. Won ti je Badoskyy leti lol. Set Awon ko gbo nkankan. Zero answering”, Eniola penned in Yoruba.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, there was an update on the situation when Oge was seen in police custody at an unidentified location in a video posted on Eniola Badmus tv on YouTube.

Oge was seen pleading for Badmus’ mercy in the viral video, stating that she created the initial video out of a desperate need to pay her rent.

Oge went on to claim that she was given N200,000 to slander the actress.

Confessing her offense, Oge said, “So, one of my friends said if I should come out and talk about Miss Eniola Badmus that he was going to send me N200,000 because I told him about my rent. So that was what prompted the video in the first place.

“So, I’m so sorry. I just did it because of the money. I was so desperate to pay my house rent.”

Oge was taken into custody on Saturday, July 22, following the actress’ report of the incident to the police.
