Man arrested for threatening to expel, kill all Igbos in South-West

Kehinde Adesogba, a 28-year-old indigene and resident of Osun state, has been arrested by Operatives of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) in the state.

The suspect, was arrested on Thursday, for inciting hate and violence against all south-easterners resident in the south-western part of the country.

Adesogba had on May 18, at about 2:00hours, campaigned through a hateful post on his twitter page calling on his tribesmen, to hate and kill all the Igbos in their domain.

The tweet in which the offender openly communicated his hate and ill intention towards the Igbo’s that landed him in police net reads:

“Lets kill all the Igbos. Let’s flush them out of Yoruba lands. I hate these people with passion. They are violent people. They are worst. They hate us. Let’s hate them without holding back.”

The Police in a Friday statement, announced the arrest of the suspect, adding that the suspect is currently at the Osun State Police Command undergoing investigation.
