A community in Mbieri, Imo State has been thrown into confusion as the residents try to understand the circumstances leading to the death of a father of four, after an intimate time with his lover, a mother of two.

The deceased named Chikwado Obiyor had on Tuesday, reportedly lodged in a popular guest house in the community, with his lover named Chidinma, who is also married to another man.

The duo, who were in a romantic relationship had lodged and enjoyed an intimate time which unfortunately ended in tragedy as the man slumped and died immediately he was leaving the guest house, while the woman fell unconscious.

A source who prefers to remain anonymous said the deceased is from Obazu Mbieri in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State while his lover who is from Rivers state lives with her husband and two children at Umuchoke Obazu, Imo state.

The source further disclosed that the remains of the deceased have since been deposited at the morgue while the woman, who was immediately taken to a hospital is yet to regain consciousness.

Nokey Ebikam, a leader in the community, while speaking to newsmen on Sunday confirmed the incident.

He said: “Be careful married women. It happened in Mbieri just yesterday.”
