Mastru Mutairu might have thought that the cover of the night will shield his evil deeds. How wrong he was.

According to the spokesperson of the Lagos state Police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, at about 3:15am on Thursday, a motorist had sighted 30-years-old Mutairu vandalizing the Carter bridge railings and quickly alerted the attention of police officers from the Ebute-Ero Division.

Luckily for the officers, the vandal was still busy at it when they arrived. However, as they moved to pick him up, he took to his heels. After a short pursuit, he was arrested.

Hundeyin in a statement said appropriate legal actions would be taken right after the conclusion of their investigation.
