Pastor William Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, has said that Nigeria can only be delivered from its present economic challenges by a leader with good intentions.

Kumuyi made the remark on Wednesday, while addressing journalists in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, to kick off the July 2023 Global Crusade with Kumuyi, GCK.

He said that throughout history, nations and communities that faced severe economic crisis have rebounded as a result of an individual with drive and determination to turn things around.

“Nigeria is facing a lot of challenges today, but I believe that with a leader with good intentions, we can overcome these challenges,” Kumuyi said.

“We need a leader who is not only concerned about his own personal enrichment, but who is also committed to the welfare of the people.”

Kumuyi also urged the youths to rise above intimidation and pursue their goals with determination and diligence. He said that it was up to the youths with unwavering faith in God to take action and turn the tide.

“Don’t let anyone tell you that we are down,” Kumuyi said. “We are a great nation with a bright future. With God on our side, we can overcome any challenge.”

He maintained that he is motivated to hold the global crusade in Ogbomoso, based on his passion and determination to make a difference in the lives of the people, using Ogbomoso as a platform to reach out to the over 180 countries, where the GCK covered.
