Indian chef Lata Tondon salutes Hilda Baci after record confirmation by GWR

Lata Tondon, the Indian chef who had formerly held the record for the lengthiest cooking hours by a single person, responded to the confirmation news on Thursday after Guinness World Record announced Hilda Baci as the new record holder.

According to Newspread, Hilda Baci was recognised by GWR as the new record holder for the lengthiest hours spent cooking by a single person.

She initially achieved the feat by cooking for 100 hours, but GWR changed it to 93 hours and 11 minutes, stating that Hilda accidentally took extra minutes during one of her breaks shortly after beginning the attempt.

Taking to her Instagram story on Thursday, Lata Tondon, the preceding record holder expressed excitement for Hilda Baci and Nigerians.

The feat was accomplished by Lata Tondon in 2019 after she cooked relentlessly for 87 hours and 45 minutes.
