Azubuike, reportedly died after he was swept away by the flood that occured at Trademore Estate in Lugbe area of Abuja, during Friday’s heavy downpour.

The remains of the lecturer was found at the opening of a canal in the estate by one Inspector Ashiru, a policeman, who claims he was only recently posted to the area.

Inspector Ashiru while explaining how he discovered the corpse and pulled it out of the canal with the aid of other residents, also said he is a victim as he lost all his belongings to the flood.
