President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering a stable, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria, assuring citizens that their well-being remains the top priority of his administration.
Speaking on Thursday at the State House in Abuja while receiving members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, the President said his government is steadily dismantling long-standing political and economic structures that have hindered national prosperity, replacing them with policies that encourage inclusive participation.
The delegation was led by Hope Uzodimma, who also serves as Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors. In attendance were Vice President Kashim Shettima, APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda, several state governors, and key political figures.
President Tinubu emphasised the importance of citizen participation in nation-building, noting that empowering Nigerians to shape their future would create a better society for generations to come. He urged members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to intensify grassroots mobilisation and sensitisation on government reforms aimed at improving livelihoods.
“You represent the conscience of a nation determined to break free from poverty and hopelessness,” the President said.
He also reiterated his administration’s commitment to democratic principles, including respect for the rule of law, separation of powers, and protection of citizens’ rights, stressing that lawful court orders must always be obeyed.
Addressing critics and opposition voices, Tinubu urged Nigerians not to be discouraged by misinformation, maintaining that meaningful progress often comes with initial challenges. He expressed confidence in his leadership and the direction of the country, assuring citizens that Nigeria remains on a path toward growth and transformation.
The President further pledged to continue policies that promote inclusive economic growth, create opportunities for young people, and ensure that every Nigerian has a stake in the nation’s future.
Earlier, Governor Uzodimma said the Renewed Hope Ambassadors had made significant progress nationwide, including the establishment of structures at the grassroots level and ongoing data-driven mobilisation across communities, markets, schools, and professional groups.
Former Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari also commended the President’s reform agenda, describing him as a courageous leader implementing difficult but necessary changes. He noted that leaders in the North-West remain supportive of the administration and pledged continued advocacy to raise awareness about federal government projects.
Other dignitaries at the event included former Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim, alongside several serving governors who delivered goodwill messages.
The meeting underscored ongoing political mobilisation efforts by the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to promote the administration’s policies and strengthen public engagement nationwide.
